WORK EXPERIENCE

Interior Designer at Interior Matter, Washington D.C.

(October 2023 – Present **Independent Contractor)

Working directly with clients and completing surveys, spatial planning, color palette, and material/furniture selection. Developing millwork drawings and custom furniture pieces.

Project Manager / Interior Designer at RedBird Redesign, Washington D.C.

(January 2023 – May 2023)

Developing design concepts and moodboards to express the direction and scope of design, with the addition of color palettes and layout of the pieces. My responsibilities include but were not limited to:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the client

  • Participate in client presentations

  • Review designs and shopping lists; quality control

  • Ensure all aspects of the proposal and client asks are met

  • Oversee installation; meet with contractors and conduct walkthroughs

Project Manager / Interior Designer at Sara Mosele Interiors, NYC

Overseeing the design and decorative process for both working and living areas from start to finish. Actively involved in the creation of new systems at the studio and new communications strategies. My role includes but is not limited to:

  • Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space

  • Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colours

  • Creating initial design sketches, colour themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability

  • Creating CAD designs and detailed briefs for workers and supervisors

  • Hiring contractors and vendors to implement design ideas, such as Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians and Artists

  • Overseeing the buying process of all raw materials and items required to complete the project

  • Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress

  • Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline

Project Manager / Designer at STUDIO x STUDIO, London

(January 2019 – February 2020)

Concept developing and assisting the director on day-to-day studio duties. My role included liaising with our London-based Makers and preparing the files for the production of our pieces in China and London. Our projects included residential and commercial interiors.

Project management, creative direction, head of visualization and company layout. I worked on projects worldwide, including in London, Milan, New York, UAE, and China.

Lighting Designer Assistant at George Singer, London

(January 2016 – February 2017)

Assisted in the creation of bespoke chandelier projects. Worked closely with the Creative Director, realizing 3D models and visuals.

(October 2015 – December 2015)

Assisted the sales team, managing logistics, and liaising with the main factory in Milan. Produced interior design proposals and CAD drawings for clients.

Set Designer at Paranoid Studio, Milan

(September 2013 – July 2015)

Produced proposals for scene design and interior decoration for a number of commercial films. Managed the brand identity of the company and produced graphic presentations and visuals for clients.

Jewellery Designer at Fabio Botta Bijoux, Milan

(July 2009 – July 2011)

Produced workshop jewels and proposed new ideas for seasonal collections and clients' requests, mainly producing handmade jewellery, working with precious metals and gems.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Organizer at Luxforia, Como (June 2019 – June 2019)

Developed and organized the first Crowd-founded Light Design show in Italy, the show was open for a week and had 15 top students of the lighting design course at Politecnico di Milano. The Indiegogo Crowd-funding campaigned was 100% successful, and with the budget, we were able to create a wonderful show giving exposure to the students and their projects.
